新しいイングリッシュスティルワイン2種をご紹介します。
愛称ペネロペで親しまれるスティルロゼは、ドライでフルーティーなピノ・ノワール。まるで苺を詠ったソネットのようです。スティルホワイトのクラレンスは、桃の香りが弾ける、フレッシュで鮮やかな万華鏡。スパークリングではありません。スティル、イングリッシュ。それでも、信じられないほど美味しい。

The rosé is dangerously easy to drink—that strawberry note is subtle, not sweet, and it’s bone dry like the label says. I opened a can with dinner and finished the whole thing before the food hit the table.
Clarence pours a lovely pale gold and has that fresh, crisp character you want from a still white, but it’s the rosé that really steals the show—dry with a true strawberry note that doesn’t tip into sweetness. We cracked two cans with a light lunch and they went down far too easily. Definitely order
The rosé is a proper dry one, all strawberry and fruit without any of that sickly sweetness you get from cheaper pinks. Cracked a can with dinner and it held its own against the food, which is more than I can say for most canned wines.
